David was born and grew up in Cape Town and was led to the Lord by his parents at a young age. He studied maths, computer science and linguistics at UCT and has worked as a software developer for the past 20 years. He is married to Danielle, who is from the UK and have three children aged 16 and 13 and 3. In 2014, he studied theology and apologetics at Oxford. He loves bridging differences to share the gospel. He works part-time with RZIM as an adjunct, speaking, researching and writing about the South African situation. Some topics which David finds particularly interesting include the nature of personhood, the faithfulness and love of God in the face of suffering, science and faith (especially touching consciousness), and the idea of pluralism.
